PhD Position in Privacy and Security in Video Surveillance ,Klagenfurt,Austria

The Institute of Networked and Embedded Systems at Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt recently launched the TrustEYE research project which focuses on privacy and security aspects in video surveillance
and visual sensor networks. The project was reviewed and scientifically approved by FWF and is funded by KWF. In
collaboration with our international partners at the National University of Singapore (NUS) we are going to develop concepts and prototypes for trustworthy sensing and collaboration in visual sensor networks.

We are looking for a research staff member (PhD student) with a
strong interest in one or more of the following areas:

- Privacy protection and IT security

- Smart cameras and embedded systems development

- Computer vision and image processing
