Post-doctoral position available
A post-doctoral position is currently available within the Systems Biology group of the Institute of Molecular and Clinical Immunology at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg. The Institute is composed of 10 Research Groups focused on characterizing the role of adaptor proteins in T-cell signaling. Further information on the Institute is available via our web site http://www.med.uni-magdeburg.de/imki.html
The Institute is also an active participant in the BMBF funded FORSYS program. The candidates will support current efforts to establish a qualitative model of T-cell signaling and are expected to contribute to the development of a quantitative model of T-cell activation.
Salary for these positions is based on the TV-L scheme.
Candidates should possess a Ph.D. and ideally have experience in T-cell biology and/or signal trans-duction, with a solid background in protein biochemistry. An interest in theoretical immunology, mathematics, molecular biology, and/or microscopy is also desirable. Fluency in the English language is required.
The Otto-von-Guericke University is an equal opportunity employer and women are encouraged to apply. Candidates should submit a CV, list of publications, and the names and contact details of 2 referees to:
